OverThought Productions came together in 2003 over a series of phone calls between Portland and New York. Aron was acting and working for New Dramatist while James was working as assistant to Gus Van Sant and attempting to write for a local producer.

They began working on a script, what was to become their first film, "Through the Fall", over a period of a few months. Since then, Aron and James have collaborated on several short films, music videos and theatre productions. After some time off, OverThought returns with its most ambitious project yet, the spooky children's film, "Widow's Walk Lake".
