8/21/08: Widow's Walk Lake
Pre-production is in full swing on OverThought's new film, Widow's Walk Lake. A bigger project in every way, we are happy to be collaborating with Wendy Downing of Late Bloomer Productions.
Widow's Walk Lake is a children's ghost story inspired by the works of author John Bellairs. I wanted to do a 180 and try something different this time around, focusing on tone and atmosphere rather than dialogue. Its told in storybook fashion, flashing back over the images of a tragic tale involving love, lighthouses, isolation... and mechanical prosthetics.
Casting is under way for all principle roles and props are being collected. If you would like to be involved please get in touch!

2/4/08: It's cold, grey and rainy in Portland, and OverThought has a new site. We've included most of our notable work such as short films, plays we were involved in and a music video. Right now we're hard at work in the post-production stage of our newest short film, Closing Time. There are several new projects in various stages of distillery, that we plan on getting to this year. Watch this space for updates! Until then, here are two paintings by Portland painter Robert Blake, inspired by the Closing Time script.
